Sundial Attends Liquidity and Consensus 2026, Hong Kong
2/18/2026

Sundial recently attended both Liquidity and Consensus 2026 in Hong Kong, setting the tone for the year ahead. Together, the events reflected a market that is coming to be defined by integration between digital assets and traditional markets.
At Liquidity, CEO Sheldon Hunt moderated a panel on “Multi-Asset Trading and Market Convergence” alongside leaders from Galaxy Digital, Binance, SGX, BitMEX and Gold-i. The discussion examined how the crypto market structure has evolved in recent years and where convergence with traditional finance is now taking place, namely, across execution infrastructure and risk management standards.

The underlying theme was clear: crypto markets are increasingly interacting with global financial systems in ways that require operational maturity rather than narrative momentum. For Sundial, moderating this conversation reinforced the structural role Sundial will play as the bridge between DeFi and traditional finance.
At Consensus, Sundial was involved in key panels and gatherings including the “Consensus Special Event: The Web3 & AI Consensus Summit & CDDJAP 2026 Spring Cohort Launch”, which connected Hong Kong and Silicon Valley innovation systems. Hosted by CDDJAP (Cyberport x Draper Dragon Accelerator), Draper Dragon, and Draper University, the session brought together participants working at the intersection of digital assets, AI, and global infrastructure design.
Sundial also contributed to meaningful discussions such as “Does Web3.0 Have Everything It Should Have Compared to Web2.0”, highlighting the protocol’s role in the evolution of decentralised systems. In the evenings, Sundial supported project presentations as a hosting partner at Cardano Happy Hour and Cardano Web3 Founders Night, creating space for early-stage builders to share ideas and exchange perspectives. Overall, Consensus further demonstrated that digital asset innovation is increasingly interdisciplinary and focused on building systems that operate coherently across jurisdictions.

Across both conferences, the recurring theme was convergence. Digital assets are now being shaped in alignment with global financial markets and Sundial’s involvement in these conversations reflects its role as an infrastructure that will bridge this integration.
