The Sundial team attended btc vegas

Sundial and Michael Saylor

In May, the Sundial protocol team attended Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas, connecting with the Bitcoin community, key partners and potential investors to discuss the future of DeFi, UTxO scalability and Bitcoin capabilities. At Bitcoin DeFi Day, Sundial’s core technology was demonstrated as part of a growing push to unlock meaningful use cases for BTC beyond storage.

Sundial also met with Michael Saylor, a long-standing advocate for Bitcoin’s institutional adoption and one of Bitcoin’s most influential advocates, the discussion underscored our shared belief in Bitcoin’s evolution.

Bitcoin 2025 was a valuable opportunity to share our vision for Bitcoin-native DeFi, discuss our upcoming mainnet plans, and showcase how Sundial is enabling trustless BTC interoperability with other UTxOs. Backed by Midgard’s hybrid Layer-2 design and core partnerships with BitcoinOS, Bitlayer, DeltaDeFi and more. Sundial is creating a secure, zero-knowledge bridge for Bitcoin DeFi capabilities. Thank you to everyone we connected with — we’re excited to keep the momentum going.

The Sundial team held productive meetings with Moneta and IOG to explore strategic alignment around Bitcoin-native DeFi and UTxO scalability. The discussions focused on technical collaboration and shared goals around trustless bridging, applications of DeFi and stablecoins.
